چکیده
Background: Intraperitoneal instillation (IPI) of local anesthetic agents into peritoneal cavity has proved to be an effective method post-operative analgesia in laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC). The addition adjuvants such as narcotics or α2-agonists been proposed prolong the duration analgesia. Aims and Objectives: This study aimed compare IPI periportal infiltration ropivacaine plus dexmedetomidine with nalbuphine patients undergoing LC. Materials Methods: was a comparative, prospective, randomized controlled double-blind conducted on total 100 (American Society Anesthesiologists class I II) planned for LC who were randomly divided two groups 50 patients: Group Ropivacaine+Dexmedetomidine (RD) received 150 mg (0.375%) (1 μg/kg) diluted normal saline 40 mL Ropivacaine+Nalbuphine (RN) 10 mL. Post-operative pain assessed by Visual Analogue Score, time first request analgesia, amount rescue analgesics given 24 h side effects noted. Data analyzed Student’s independent t-test Chi-square test using SPSS version 20.0. Results: Overall Analog Scale scores (1.38±0.78 vs. 2.59±1.15), (7.3±3.74 4.2±2.71), analgesic consumption (82.4±15.34 158.5±16.19) significantly lower RD group compared RN group. Among adverse events, incidence nausea vomiting higher Conclusion: appears superior terms prolonged lesser requirement less complications.

Efficacy of periportal infiltration and intraperitoneal instillation of ropivacaine after laparoscopic surgery in children.
UNLABELLED Postoperative pain is less intense after laparoscopic than after open surgery. However, minimally invasive surgery is not a a pain-free procedure. Many trials have been done in adults using intraperitoneal and/or incisional local anesthetic, but similar studies have not yet been reported in the literature in children. AIM The aim of this study was to evaluate the analgesic effect o...

.. Introduction: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the treatment of choice for symptomatic cholelithiasis. Intraperitoneal instillation of bupivacaine is one of the methods used to improve pain relief after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Objective: To compare the mean pain score after intraperitoneal instillation of bupivacaine with placebo during laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Study Design: Random...
